Tasmanian Tiger Cat

like the earlier post about Convergent evolution here is another example of it.

The Tasmanian tiger cat typically found in southern Australia and Tasmania, Australia. The Tasmanian Tiger cat is a Marsupial Mammal. The wolf and the Tasmanian tiger cat are two animals have the same bone structure and the two animals share the same adaptation of smell because they both can smell 10 times better then the average human. There is mixed stories on if it is extinct because there is many sightings of them. Some people want to clone the animal because some people believe it is endangered. The first evidence of the Tasmanian tiger cat in 87 years was at a garage sale in New south Wale’s, Australia. A man got a pelt of the Tasmanian tiger cat from a garage sale and got it for 5$ but the value of it is 70,000. According to scientist it is real and that is proof that it way exist.

Welcome to Marsupials Blog! first, what is a Marsupial? All Marsupials are mammals so they all have live birth .They all have pouches to keep there young until they develop fully.  all marsupials come from  Australia. Some people may wonder if this is a project on convergent evolution and biogeography why is it called marsupials blog? all marsupials are an example of biogeography and convergent evolution (a post about that is scheduled on Feb 9th so stay tuned!).  Here on this blog you will find some examples of that and a little quiz coming up. I will post my sources soon! Please enjoy!
